Every harvest season, Ill Fiorello opens their mill to anyone in our community with a small amount of olives to be milled into extra virgin olive oil. On two Sundays, October 20 and November 24, those with harvested olives can take part in creating a special batch of olive oil made from the combination of all the participants’ crops.
The milling rate is $0.75 per pound of olives, and there is a small charge for the containers for the olive oil. There is no minimum quantity required, but olives must arrive at the mill between 9:00 a.m. and noon.
