Slow Food Solano is asking for support to meet our match — for a matching donation, that is. Slow Food Solano is offering an end of year opportunity to make a donation to a local nonprofit with an anonymous donor matching donations up to $500! One hundred percent of all donations go directly to Slow Food Solano’s school garden grant program. Slow Food Solano is an entirely volunteer run organization, so your dollars won’t go to administrative expenses. Your donations go directly help the students and teachers start or maintain their school gardens.
In 2019 we gave $6393.00 to 23 Solano school gardens. Visit https://slowfoodsolano.org/join-us/ and donate now to again enable us to fund all this year’s grant requests and give local school children the opportunity to plant their own gardens.
